I've got a big 42X19X14 box that a wagon came in. I know some folks like to use big boxes with their kids. I'll have it till Tuesday, so if anyone wants it before then, it's theirs.

50% off Old Navy Clearance
I found this on slickdeals.net. I am not sure how long it lasts, but all you do is enter the code HALFOFF during check out. You better act fast because my order kept shrinking during the check out process as stuff sold out. In the end I got half of my original order. So yeah this deal is hot!

Deal at CVS this week
Thought you might like to know a "deal" at CVS this week:
If you have a CVS Extra Care card (or if not, you just ask for one at the checkout by giving them your phone #)....
Buy $20 worth of Pepsi and/or Lay's products (I bought 3 cases of Sierra Mist at 3 for $10, 2 bags of Lay's chips at 2 for $4 and 2 bags of Tostitos at 2 for $6 to equal $20) and get $10 extra care bucks, printed at the register (for use anytime in the next month, like cash, at CVS).
Then print off this rebate and mail it in with your receipt for an additional $15 in Pepsi Co coupons back (I mailed in for these coupons before and then waited for the products to go on sale...and got $15 in free products).

Just make sure you read the fine print on the rebate that says you must buy at least 3 packs of soda and 3 bags of chips. You can't just buy $20 worth of soda.

Coupon Websites
Hey, sisters. After an enrichment last year, I was motivated by Colette to start using coupons more. I found one site call coupons.com that I really like. I use them at Wal-Mart all the time. If anyone has any other coupon sites, please post them and share the joy of saving money:)
Travis County Planting Schedule
If any of you are interested in planting a garden this year, I highly recommend you check out the Travis County Planting Calendar. This is the link to the site http://www.co.travis.tx.us/agext/garden/veggies/planting/default.asp
I have used this planting schedule for the past ten years with great results. Texas weather can be deceiving, and I have seen many people plant too early. A sudden freeze then ruins their new plants. I will have a printed abbreviated list in the Relief Society binders this Sunday. I prefer the site, though, since it gives the exact dates to start planting and you can choose different vegetables to find out when to plant. Enjoy and happy gardening!

Cheap Baby Bedding
I was at the Target today by the 45/35 intersection and they had really cute, cheap baby girl crib bedding. I forget the name of the style, but it was marked down from like 70 bucks to 18. If I didn't already have it for Netta I totally would have bought it so I thought I would pass that along.
Welcome
Thanks for checking out the blog. I really hope this can be a great way for us to communicate things going on in the ward and the general Austin area. Please feel free to post anything you come across: activities, recipes, sales, and even any needs you have such as babysitting or advice. I can't wait for this to get going. The more posts the merrier!
