Stay-at-Home Jobs

Hey, sisters. Many of you have expressed interest in finding work preferably from home. This can be tricky since there are many scams for at home work, but a website that specializes in finding job openings that are legit was listed on the Austin Area Stakes LDS employment list serve . The site is

You can sign up to receive a weekly newsletter with the latest stay-at-home jobs. The site screens companies for scams before they post their job openings. I would still encourage everyone to read the article about identifying scams before you start applying for work. It's listed on the menu options on the left hand column of the website. The site has plenty of information on different types of stay-at-home jobs, so it's great for researching. I am really impressed with the website. I have done freelance work in the past, and know how difficult it is to find work from legitimate companies. Also, if you wish to be a part of the LDS employment list serve, go to this site to sign up.

Jobs around town are listed on there frequently and you can also post job openings to share with others. They also post when career workshops are happening.

  1. Speaking of working from home, I am in need of some part time child care for my little one, if anyone is interested. Asher will be 3 months old Aug 1st. I will be starting school in the Fall so I need help M,W,F in the afternoons. Please contact me if you are interested or if you can recommend someone. Thank you, Shannon Murray 512-785-1254
